Loving My Meridian!

My work requires me to wear a non-smart watch, and the Meridian is the perfect blend of analog form and function. In an age where so many things in our lives are digital, require an app, and/or want to send you ceaseless notifications, my Meridian is a breath of fresh air. It tells time. That's it. And I'm growing increasing fond of that simplicity. The routine of having to wind it every morning is oddly satisfying as well. Quality watch, beautiful design, and for me...a chance to support a local business with a great ethos.

Hi Ron, thanks so much for your review of you Meridian! So happy to hear that you're loving the interaction you have with your watch every day. We felt the same way!

Update - Watch Repair Story

I was winding my Meridian (blue) watch one morning, when I heard a small pop. The watch stopped, and there was no longer any resistance while winding. "Shoot!"

I thought, "uh-oh, main spring broke."

I wasn't too concerned because the watch has a 10-year guarantee. Like many of you, I have more than one watch, so on went another watch, and off i went.

I sent an email to Chris at Vero, who responded promptly, saying that Kaine the watchmaker would send a UPS label to be used to return the watch. I was busy, so I sent the watch about 3 days later. Upon arrival, my delivery was confirmed. Kaine thought that a screw had broken, and that the mainspring was probably fine. He said that he'd take care of it.

About three weeks later, I received and email stating that the watch was fixed, and that it would be sent back to me. It arrived, I wound it, set the watch to local GPS time, and went about my business. (I asked Kaine what the problem was, I think that he is so busy, he doesn't have time for small talk.)

It turns out that the problem really didn't matter, because in the month that I've had my watch back, it has been within 5 seconds of GPS time. I have yet to set the watch - there's no need to adjust it!! This is unbelievable - this thing is keeping nearly close to perfect time. I don't baby the watch, either; it's on my wrist at all times - in my shop, on my bicycles, and on my dirt and street motorcycles. Regardless of use, it remains within 5 seconds of GPS time. Wow.

I am even more amazed/impressed/happy with my purchase. I wind it, and it tells me the time within 5 seconds. It's crazy good.
