The Smokey Bear 80th Anniversary Edition Watch (Brilliant Blue)

I was watching this watch for some time. The green dial sold out quickly. I received an email saying we have stock. Ordered immediately. Received quickly in great shape. I have several watches of all types and prices. This bright copper looking case with the brown leather strap is my current favorite next to my platinum Daytona. All for an under $600. The company is in Portland and very responsive to any inquires I have had. I also bought a Holigan a few years back. Both are attention getters. I know they have some discount codes available. I tried “smoke poles”. Didn’t work. But 2 things this holiday season. Tesla stack and this watch. Can’t go wrong with either.

The packaging is excellent. Love the extra details of the presentation. The additional straps it comes with are great - esp the matching blue one. The thickness of the leather and weight of the case makes me believe this is a watch meant to be worn and aged to the user. At first I thought the case was too thick and wore bigger than expected but I think it needs to be out in the elements and patina-ed to be truly loved. It seems tough. Would be great for a troop leader.

My new Smoky the Bear 80th anniversary watch arrived this week and I could not be happier. I’ve been looking at this watch for the last month or so and was on the fence whether to get the blue face or the green face as I find both of them to be really beautiful. In the end I decided to wait for the green face. The watch was carefully packaged and came in a beautiful presentation box along with an extra strap, some stickers, and a cool forest service pin. After opening it I spent some time getting to know the watch and was really impressed by the quality and workmanship. The bronze case is unique and not something you see all the time and goes beautifully with the leather strap that came with it. In time that bronze will patina and give it a different character, but I sure do love the look of it. I should also say I called Vero with a couple of questions prior to buying the watch and after receiving it and I can’t say enough good stuff about their level of customer service and they’re genuine passion for their product if you were considering this watch I know you will love it.
