Iconic Smokey

The Smokey Bear official watch by VERO has a custom designed Smokey Bear image, seen here on the dial of the Smokey '44 watch. Smokey's iconic shovel is also incorporated as the counterweight of the seconds hand.

Dual Tone Finish

The Smokey Bear watches have a perfectly paired satin and high polish finished stainless steel case and crown.

Super Luminova

We packed Super LumiNova on to each dial dot, numeral, and hand of the Smokey Bear watches. You'll enjoy a bright green glow for up to 15 hours with a sufficient UV charge.

Robust Crown

"Both watches feature a big crown (so Smokey’s big paws could set the time) and at 38mm diameter, it still needed to look substantial enough for a bear to wear." -Matt Smith-Johnson

Two Band Options

It'll be tough to choose between the leather strap, or the woven canvas strap options that the Smokey Bear watches come with. Lucky for you, each have quick release spring bars and their own unique tree icon, a nod to Smokey's timeless motto of protecting the forests.

"There are fun little elements unique to each model, and each one is made to look fitting to a particular era. 1944 was Smokey’s first official year, so that variant has a more classic look: decorative numerals, cathedral hands, and a basic case back engraving. 1964 was when Smokey got his own ZIP code, so that variant is a touch more modern, and in-line with a field watch of the day." -Matt Smith-Johnson

80th anniversary Smokey the Bear watch.

I jumped on the opportunity to own this 80th anniversary Smokey the Bear watch. I am old enough to remember TV commercials staring Yogi bear and his side kick Boo Boo. The watch is beautiful. Automatic wind keeps accurate time. I would highly recommend this watch as a piece of Americana. Vero only makes so many watches. So get this watch before they run out. This is my second Vero watch. Fantastic warranty. Expert watch assembly. Top notch watch movements and components.Thanks Vero.
